Born in Canada, Justin Tyler Tate grew up in the United States. He returned to Canada to attend university and in April 2007 he received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from NSCAD University. His artwork combines elements of sculpture, installation and performance and has been exhibited internationally. Tate's work investigates the relationship between the viewer and the object and in doing so, questions the weight of viewership and creation alike.
